Tools FAQs

Q: WHICH FILE TYPE SHOULD I DOWNLOAD?

A: Are you working with a professional graphic designer? If so, you should download the Designer Files.

Do you want to add your contact information yourself and print with a professional printer? Download the Fillable PDFs.

If you want to print in-house, and add contact information in Powerpoint or similar, download the Jpgs. Professional printers will not print these files.

Q: WILL THE COLOR ON MY PRINTED PIECE LOOK THE SAME AS IT DOES ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN?

A: No. We do not recommend adjusting the colors. If you are concerned, you may request a color proof from your printer.

Q: THE PRINTED PIECES ARRIVED AND MY PHONE NUMBER IS WRONG.

A: Don’t let this happen to you. Always double check your document for spelling, layout and contact information. You are responsible for proof reading your files.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PROJECT MEETS ALL POSTAL REGULATIONS BEFORE PRINTING.

RECYCLED PAPER

There are many choices when it comes to recycled papers. We recommend FSC certified papers that are at least 30% post-consumer waste, and 100% would be our first choice.

Q: ARE FONTS INCLUDED IN THE DESIGNER FILES?

A: No, we are not allowed to distribute fonts. You will need to purchase the fonts separately. Ask your designer for a suggestion.

Q: WHAT KIND OF LOGO FILE SHOULD I PLACE IN THE DESIGNER FILES?

A: For best results, place a vector file or a high-resolution file. We suggest the following file types.

Photoshop: .jpg, .tiff., .psd, .pdf, .eps
Illustrator: .ai, .eps

Q: HOW DO I EDIT THESE PDFS?

A: You will need Adobe Acrobat to edit these files. You can download that HERE.

MY LOCAL PRINTER CAN’T PRINT THIS FILE.

Jpegs are only for in-house printing. They are not meant for professional printers.
